Personal Information

Daniele’s thesis aims to question the correlation between migrations, in particular New Mobility, and ecological practices au ras du sol, following the lesson of Jacques Revel and Michel De Certeau. The research aims to investigate how ecological practices in public spaces arisen from below (e.g. city parks, street markets and gardens) influence the identity construction processes of migrants, while understanding how transnational communities’ newly built ecological agency can become an important factor in the re-politicization of the social environment. Daniele holds a Bachelor’s in Modern History and Maste’s Degree in Contemporary History from the University of Bologna, Italy.
